Amidst the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic which has got everyone feeling low, actor Farhan Akhtar shared a heartfelt note on his Instagram account as he mourned the death of his domestic help. Individual named Ramu who was part of the actor’s family staff breathed his last, thus leaving back the memories as penned by the actor in his obituary note. The person was with Akhtar family even before Farhan was born, the actor in his post shared all the memorable times they spent together.
Sharing a smiling picture of Ramu, he shared the late house help being the one who took them to school, played board games with them, also introducing him to the Disco 80. He wrote, “Dear Ramu, You have been part of our family before I was born and my childhood is peppered with memories of time spent in your care, most vividly of you taking us to school, playing Atari, going to Bandra fair and you being the person who introduced me to the Disco 80 smash hit ‘Funky Town’!”
He also shared Ramu being with them for 4 decades, concluding his post by praying for his soul to rest in peace, “You were always smiling, just like in this picture. From the first time I remember seeing you to 4 decades later when we last met. Thank you for the years of love you have given us all. We are lucky to have had you grace our lives. Rest in Peace.”
