Actor Farhan Akhtar’s latest Instagram post had to bear brunt of Islamists. The Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara actor posted a picture on the occasion of Dhanteras, where was he seen attending a puja. The puja was conducted on the occasion of Dhanteras along with his business partner Ritesh Sidhwani and his wife Dolly Sidhwani at their office, Excel Entertainment. In the picture, Farhan was seen applying tilak to his girlfriend, Shibani Dandekar.
Islamists on the social media platform were quick to react to this post and blast the actor. Slamming the actor, one of the users commented, “Jo allah ka nhi. Hua wo insaano ka kya hoga” Another user commented, “God Almighty said: The religion with God is Islam, and whoever seeks a religion other than Islam, it will not be accepted from him” While yet another comment slamming the actor, read, “Muslim log bhi aeise karte hai kiya bas naam ka musalman hai.”
