Choreographer turned director Farah Khan posted a picture of her former dance partner Hemu Sinha and shared the news of his sad demise. The two had been dance partners in the ’80s when Farah was only concentrating on choreographing for film and waiting for the big break. The two travelled overseas for various dance competitions, which were popular across the globe back then and even now. Farah, in one of her Instagram posts, had shared a picture of her print interview in which she was seen gushing over it.
Paying her tribute to her former dance partner she wrote in her social media post, “Rest in Peace My dance partner, my guide, my friend Hemu Sinha.” The picture of this former dancing partner seemed to be from one of Farah’s TV ventures, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa. Also when Farah shot for the Happy New Year starring Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone, she recalled the times she participated in the World Dance Championship, as her directorial venture also revolved around the same topic.
When she shared an image of her print interview, she wrote in her caption, “I dare someone to try this lift with me today #retrotuesday #dirtydancing #hemusinha”
