Sonu Sood acted like a true hero in the wake of Coronavirus pandemic spread. He bravely took the step of sending off the migrant workers who were working in Maharashtra to Bihar and Uttar Pradesh amidst the lockdown. He arranged a bus service when all the means of transport were shut down due to the Coronavirus outbreak and he, as a real hero, took the responsibility of sending the migrants to their respective destiny. With this grand gesture, the entire country is praising him and his actions. Having said that, a fan recently compared him to the megastar Amitabh Bachchan.
Just recently, a fan said that Sonu Sood is the next Amitabh Bachchan after helping the migrants but in return, he gives a humble reply. Replying to the fan, Sonu tweeted, “वो क्यों मेरे घर आएँगे दोस्त। मैं उन सब के घर जाऊँगा। बहुत सारे आलू के पराँठे, पान और चाय उधार है मेरे भाइयों पर।“ (Why would they come to my place, I will go to theirs. They owe me a lot of aloo paranthe, paan and tea.)

Without fail, Amitabh Bachchan comes outside his Jalsa residence on every Sunday to meet his fans who swarm the place just to get a glimpse of their favourite actor, however, due to the Coronavirus lockdown, the Sunday meet has been cancelled until and unless everything comes back to normal.
