Legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar passed away on Sunday. Several celebrities including Shah Rukh Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Shraddha Kapoor among others attended the funeral. SRK offered a dua for the veteran singer. For a split second he removed his mask and did a facial gesture. Arun Yadav, state in-charge of BJP Haryana's information technology department shared a clip of SRK from the funeral and asked, "Did he spit?"

Several fans of the actor came out in support of SRK. A fan on Twitter shared a clip of SRK's movie My Name Is Khan. In the film, SRK plays a Muslim man with Kajol as his Hindu wife. While she does her morning aarti and showering blessings upon her son, SRK reads the morning namaz and blows air over the young boy to bless him. Lata Mangeshkar passed away due to multiple organ failure. The singer's doctor Dr Patit Samdani had released a statement that read, "It is with profound grief that we announce the sad demise of Lata Mangeshkar at 8:12 AM. She has died because of multi-organ failure after more than 28 days of hospitalisation post COVID-19."
The legendary singer was cremated with full state honours at Mumbai's Shivaji Park. Many celebs paid tribute to her on social media. Her sister and veteran singer Asha Bhosle shared a rare childhood photo with Lata Mangeshkar and wrote, "Bachpan ke din bhi kya din the. Didi and I."
