Kunal explained, “Mein toh keheta hoon ki aaj tak jitne saare bachon ke Goa ka plan cancel hua hai, un sabko shradhanjali dene ke liye yeh plan banaya tha. Ki kahin na kahin hum aisa bhi dikha de ki, itna bhi bura mat lagao agar Goa jaane ka mauka nahi mila hai toh, kyunki wahan aisi bhi cheezein huyi hai joh nahi honi chahiye. Issi idea ke saath kahaani sochi thi teen doston ki. Teen dost joh iss journey pe jaate hai, joh inhone bachpan mein dekha tha, tab woh journey kaise bhayanak ban jaata hai. Lekin uss bhayanak pane mein, hum kam se kam logon ko hasaaye, yehi attempt tha film likhne ka.” ALSO READ: Kunal Kemmu Sings 'Hum Yahin' From Madgaon Express During His Visit To Vadodara; Says, 'An Amazing Moment'

Expressing his gratitude that the audience has been loving his cameo in the film, he expressed, “Woh bahut close to shoot hum pahochne waale the, tab woh idea aaya tha wahan pe. Kyunki woh scene ko halka sa change kiya tha, uss scene mein kuch aur hone wala tha. I’m happy ki logon ko pasand aaya, jaisa bhi tha. Thoda weird side tha, lekin hasa ke chalagaya toh achha laga.”

He went on to conclude by stating that the movie is based on the real-life experience of wanting to go to Goa with school friends. He want to visually portray the nostalgia that people feel with their school friends, when they talk about their childhood days, a part that many romanticise till date.
