News of actress Esha Gupta, filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt, actresses Urvashi Rautela, Mouni Roy, and TV actor Prince Narula receiving fresh notices from National Commission for Women (NCW) for promoting IMG Ventures hit the web. According to a complaint, IMG promoter Sunny Verma was allegedly taking advantage of the women trying their luck at modelling and later blackmailing them.  The concerned body also Tweeted this news and tagged the actress Esha Gupta in it for not complying with the first notice.

Now the Total Dhamaal actress in series of tweets responded to this news and also cleared of not receiving any notice from NCW. She also tagged Union Minister Smriti Irani seeking her help. Her Tweet read, “Dear @smritiirani ma’am, can you please help me with this issue. Why is this the first time m hearing about it through the tweets? If we do a paid promotion, it’s our work. Also, the fact that I have yet received no notice.” Tagging Smriti Irani, Cabinet minister, in her followed tweet wrote, “Respected @smritiirani ma’am, please help me with this situation. Just by tweeting and giving out in news, a case can not be made on a false pretext. I don’t know the truth behind #NCW case, but to accuse me of something like is defamatory.”

Mentioning in her tweet Esha also said that giving out such false news and accusing her of supporting a company is equivalent to defamation.

Also asking the Cabinet Minister how she and the others can be pulled into this if they only promoted it and it was a clear paid promotional activity. “Ma’am, I’d like to know how are we involved in this, if it was just a paid promo event. @smritiirani ma’am please help in this” ALSO READ: Mahesh Bhatt Sends Letter To By NCW As He Denies Getting Any Letter In Connection To A Firm Accused Of Exploiting Girls; ‘No Association With The Company’
