Esha Deol Takhtani started her new innings in showbiz today with her film Ek Duaa, which was released as a part of the Voot Select Film Fest. The film not only marks Esha’s return to acting but also her first production venture under Bharat Esha Films.

Esha took a sabbatical from acting after the birth of her two daughters Radhya and Miraya, and now that she is making a comeback with Ek Duaa, ask her how her daughters reacted to the trailer of the film, and she shares, “My elder one has seen the trailer and she kept on asking me who was that little baby with me. She asked me where I did the shooting and was it here only. Her main concern is when did I leave her, go to work and come back,” she smiles.

So, have her daughters seen her other films and projects too yet? “They watch my other stuff but I haven’t shown them my proper films yet. Although, Radhya has seen Na Tum Jaano Na Hum and both of them love the song Dilbara from Dhoom. You just have to play that song and they dance to it, and sometimes they even dance to Dhoom Machale,” she gushes.

The actress started her career in films in 2002 as one of the most awaited debuts, since she was superstars Hema Malini and Dharmendra’s daughter. She was seen in Vinay Shukla’s Koi Mere Dil Se Poochhe opposite Aftab Shivdasani and went on to receive the Filmfare Award for Best Debut Female the following year for that. Her last film appearance was in the multilingual film, which was released as Kill them Young in Hindi in 2015.
