Ekta wants Shraddha to sing in Half Girlfriend

Shraddha Kapoor’s rendition of Galliyan Unplugged was so beautiful that we still haven’t gotten over it. Let’s face it, the romantic track was one of the reasons why Ek Villain became such a hit. So it’s not surprising that producer Ekta Kapoor is making the most of Shraddha’s talent, now that she has signed the actress for her production, Half Girlfriend.

SpotboyE has it that Shraddha will be singing one (or maybe a few more) of the songs in the Mohit Suri-directed movie.

 

With the latest development, we’re guessing Ekta is glad that things didn’t work out with her rumoured first choice Kriti Sanon (Now Kriti Sanon out of Half Girlfriend?, December 1).

 

Half Girlfriend is the on-screen adaptation of the Chetan Bhagat novel by the same name and features Arjun Kapoor as the male lead.
