After releasing a nail biting trailer of the upcoming thriller Durgamati: The Myth, the makers of the film have now unveiled the character posters of the film, keeping the excitement top notch. Recently, Bhumi Pednekar took to social media and shared new character posters. The posters feature Karan Kapadia, Bhumi Pednekar, Arshad Warsi, Jisshu Sengupta, and Mahie Gill. Bhumi looks extremely fierce in the poster, exuding an expression of being nervous and full of rage as she is seen holding a gun in her hand. This has left the fans excited for the release.
Arshad Warsi looks all things intense, with a mystical expression. Followed by Mahie Gill, Jisshu Sengupta, and Karan Kapadia’s hard-hitting posters, building a lot of curiosity around their characters. The caption she wrote, "Victim or Mastermind? Get ready to meet #DurgamatiOnPrime on Dec 11" This will be Bhumi’s second film to release on the OTT platform amidst the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Her last release, Dolly Kitty Aur Woh Chamakte Sitare released on the Netflix platform on September 18, 2020.

Durgamati will release on December 11 and will be available for streaming on Amazon Prime Video.
Post the trailer release, Bhumi's portrayal of Durgamati was compared to Anushka Shetty in Bhaagamathie. The actress was trolled where fans stated Bhumi not matching up to the mark of the South actress in the remake.
