Amitabh Bachchan is keeping his fans entertained amid the lockdown with the help of social media. The megastar has been posting some old and entertaining pictures that have been keeping his Insta fam busy. Thanks to the self-isolation, Big B is digging through his album and treating his fans with some throwback pictures and videos. Not only that he's also entertaining his huge fan following with his wit and humour.
A while back, Big B took to Twitter and shared a 42-year-old picture reminiscing the time when he received an award for the much-loved film, Don. As the film completed 42 years of its release, Big B shared a few pics from the sets and wrote, “42 years of DON .. with Nutan ji Best Actor filmfare for Don .. produced by Nariman Irani .. passed away through a freak accident .. I dedicated the Award to his wife .. called her on stage...”
In one of the pictures, Big B is seen posing with Nutan, while the other pics are from the sets of Don which released in 1978. While celebrating the 42 years of its release, Big B took to his blog and revealed he had actually copied son Abhishek Bachchan’s baby dance in the song as he danced barefoot after anesthesia shots for hit number Khaike Paan Banaraswala.
He wrote in his blog, “Those days we worked in 2-3 shifts per day on different films .. I was shooting in the morning shift 7am-2pm at China creek .. an outdoor location some miles our of the city .. it was an action sequence .. had injured my feet .. blisters all around .. and came to Mehboob Studios from China Creek to shoot this number .. had to dance bare feet .. blisters were impossible to walk on .. so what .. called the doc .. took anaesthesia injections in the feet and worked the 4-5 days that took to shoot it.”
