Akshay Kumar’s Kesari has hit the big screens and is doing very well at the ticket windows. It even amassed praises from critics. Before the movie released in cinema halls, we engaged in a conversation with the actor, wherein he spoke about the movie, what success means to him, his frustrations and several topics.
While in the past, he was known for his action image, since the last few years, the actor has been more driven towards movies with a social message. Right from Toilet- Ek Prem Katha to PadMan, he has become the torchbearer of cinema that provides a strong message. So, we were keen to know if he has made a conscious decision to stick to these kind of movies, or it’s just a coincidence. Here’s what he had to say, “It’s nothing like that. I’m doing a Housefull now, and then I also have a horror comedy next. I don’t want to set an image of myself through the films that I do. I want to do every kind of role, or else I will get bored of doing the same kind of characters.” WATCH THE VIDEO BELOW:
During the conversation, Akshay even told us that he was quite fed up for nearly 6 to 7 years of his career where he was getting only action-oriented films one after another.
