After receiving raving reviews for her latest film ‘Do Aur Do Pyaar’, Vidya Balan is very grateful for all the love and positive response coming her way. The actress wanted the audience to feel a certain type of likeness and joy when they watched the film. On being asked about her experience working with debut Director Shirsha, she expressed, “Shirsha is a fantastic storyteller. While working with her I got a sense of that she’s an absolutely self-assured in terms of her craft. She’s not trying to impress you which you can see beautifully in the film also. She enjoys the process of storytelling and that comes through. I felt it during the process of making the film ‘Do Aur Do Pyaar’ with her and I felt that while I watched the film multiple times. There is a certain flow and fluidity and charm to it which cant really be explained in words.”
Vidya also added about her first meeting with Shirsha and what it was like being on the sets while the shoot, “I used to also joke about it on set that she was my girl crush on set. She is very charming and soft, someone so easy to talk to and I love that. And most importantly I got a sense in the very first meeting that she knew her job.”
With so much love and appreciation from the audience and critics alike, the director has undeniably set the bar higher for herself. ‘Do Aur Do Pyaar’ is a modern love story that talks about its importance, complexities and realities hidden behind the happily ever after.
