2020 is quite a forgetful year for all the moviegoers so far, blame it on the Coronavirus outbreak. The deadly pandemic has spread its claws all over India, hence resulting in a nationwide lockdown with all the places that promote public gathering, including theatres, being shut from a really long time. Well, that means no fresh releases and indefinite postponement of all the biggies that were lined up to release so far. The list includes Akshay Kumar’s Sooryavanshi, Ranveer Singh’s ’83 and Varun Dhawan’s Coolie No.1.

We further have Salman Khan’s Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai and Akshay Kumar starrer Laxmmi Bomb for Eid; however, with the current circumstances in India, it looks a bit unlikely to see them releasing during the decided date. It goes without saying that once the lockdown is lifted, these biggies will make it point to claim their spots as soon as possible and the safest one, in the upcoming period, seems to be Diwali 2020. Trade analysts, in a conversation with Mid Day, reveal that many of these films are likely to release on Diwali, including Radhe and Sooryavanshi.

A trade source revealed to the tabloid, "Sooryavanshi, Radhe and Coolie No 1 are massy entertainers with action, emotion and drama — the kind of films that people enjoy watching during the biggest festival of the year."

Trade analyst Atul Mohan was quoted saying, “Diwali is six months down the line, hopefully, normalcy will be restored by then. It was the original festive window before Bollywood started releasing films over Eid, Christmas and Republic Day weekends. There are enough theatres to release three big movies.” Distributor Raj Bansal, however, added, “Diwali is the safest bet for big movies. But, producers should not consider releasing more than two films as they will eat into each other's profits."

Well, only will tell the fate of these biggies. Which one are you looking forward to the most?
