On May 18,
the makers of Akshay Kumar and Kiara Advani starrer Laxmmi Bomb unveiled the
first look poster of Kesari actor as transgender. While his fans couldn’t
control their excitement, it was film’s director Raghava Lawrence, who had announced
that he is “stepping down” as the director of the film. The filmmaker had taken
to social media to announce that the makers “released the poster without
his knowledge”. In his long message, he had also stated that he felt “very disrespected
and disappointed.”
But now here’s
good news for all those were waiting for Raghava to don the director’s cap
again. On Saturday evening, Raghava took to social media and announced that he is
“back on board as a director of #LaxmmiBomb.” Taking to Twitter, he posted a
note and a picture with Akshay Kumar, captioning it he wrote, “Hi Dear Friends
and Fans...! As you wished I would like to let you know that I am back on board
as a director of #LaxmmiBomb with @akshaykumar.”

The note

Laxmmi Bomb, which is the remake of a Tamil horror film Kanchana: Muni 2, will see Akshay Kumar playing the character of a possessed person in the film. The Kesari actor has been paired opposite Kiara Advani. Produced by A Cape of Good Films and Fox Star Studios, in association with Shabinaa Entertainment & Tusshar Entertainment House, Laxmmi Bomb will be releasing on 5 June, 2020.
