Sajid Nadiadwala, the producer of Dishoom, made a last-minute decision to cancel a schedule of the film. And a sound one, we’d say!

Late last month, the filmmaker called off a 7-day shoot of his action film, revolving around match-fixing, which was to be held at D Y Patil Stadium on the outskirts of Mumbai.

The idea was to shoot some crucial cricket scenes.
While similar scenes were shot in Abu Dhabi earlier, director Rohit Dhawan wanted to have some more options for visuals.

However, looking at the film’s account book, a decision was made to call off the D Y Patil Stadium shoot.
The Varun Dhawan, Jacqueline Fernandez and John Abraham starrer already has a big canvas. Plus, the movie has been delayed due to John’s injury and re-shooting of the sequences would have only further pushed the release date ahead.

“We decided to make do with whatever we have from the Abu Dhabi shoot,” says a production hand from the film.

We texted Nadiadwala but he did not revert.
