The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has passed both Dilwale and Bajirao Mastani without a single cut. Can you believe that!

SpotboyE has learnt exclusively that while Sanjay Leela Bhansali's historical romance has been given a 'U' certificate, Rohit Shetty's Shah Rukh Khan-starrer has been cleared with a 'U/A' label.

Both movies are releasing next Friday. Incidentally, both were screened last night.

The news has left us totally surprised. In fact, even Diwali release Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, made by Sooraj Barjatya who has the reputation of being the 'cleanest' filmmaker in Bollywood, had to undergo cuts.

So, it's slightly baffling to see CBFC chairperson Pahlaj Nihalani give not one but TWO films a clean chit in a single day.

For some time now, Pahlaj's excess 'sanskar' has been facing opposition from within the board as well as Bollywood.

So, are Dilwale and Bajirao Mastani absolutely clean films? Or, has Pahlaj turned over a new leaf?

December 18 will have all the answers.
