Kangana Ranaut called for a controversy after she made a tweet taking a dig at an old woman participating in Farmers' Protest. She shared a picture of an old lady named Mahinder Kaur and stated that she was the same famous Shaheen Bagh dadi who takes part in protests for Rs 100. Kangana later deleted the tweet, however, she received massive backlash for misidentifying the woman. Many took to their social media accounts to slam Kangana. Now it is Diljit Dosanjh who has lashed out at the Manikarnika actress.

Sharing a video of Mahinder Kaur, Diljit tweeted to Kangana that one should not be so blind and say anything. He shared a video of Mahinder Kaur's interview with BBC News in which the old lady has given out a strong opinion against Kangana. Mahinder Kaur stated that she has been farming for years, and that she participated in the protest as a farmer. She even questioned who Kangana Ranaut is and why is she maligning her image? Her family members and ladies who participated in the protest with her also slammed Kangana. 

Diljit, who has been actively tweeting about Farmers' Protest, shared the video of Mahinder Kaur and wrote, "Respected MAHINDER KAUR JI Ah Sunn La Ni With Proof @KanganaTeam Banda Ena V Ni Anna Hona Chaida..Kush v Boli Turi jandi aa .." Check it out below:


Over the deleted tweet of Kangana Ranaut, a Punjab-based lawyer has also sent her a legal notice for misidentifying the old woman, as per reports. Reportedly, Advocate Harkam Singh has suggested that the actress should have authenticated information before posting it on social media, in the legal notice. He has also asked for an apology.
