All the celebrities of Bollywood are making use of their social media power to encourage their fans to take up the Government's advisory to stay at home seriously. Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced a 21-days lockdown period in order to get the spread of Coronavirus in India, in control. Stars like Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar, Deepika Padukone, Anushka Sharma, and all the others are doing their best to motivate their fans to stay indoors. Now, veteran actor Dilip Kumar too is urging his fans to stay indoors and be safe.

On his official Twitter handle, he tweeted, "I urge you to #StayHomeSaveLives during this #COVID19pandemic." He attached this tweet with a shayari that read, "Dawa bhi, dua bhi. Auron se faslaa bhi. Ghareeb ki khidmat. Kamzor ki seva bhi". As soon as he made the tweet, his fans started hailing him and saying "Aye Aye Captain". This is not for the first time that Dilip Kumar has urged his fans to observe self-isolation. Earlier, he tweeted, "I appeal to all of you to protect yourself and others by staying indoors as much as possible. The #CoronavirusOutbreak transcends all boundaries and borders. Follow guidelines issued by health departments, protect yourself and others by limiting your exposure to others."

Apart from this, he had also informed his fans that his wife Saira Banu is leaving nothing to chance and is taking due precautions that he doesn't get affected by the virus. He had tweeted, "I am under complete isolation and quarantine due to the #CoronavirusOutbreak. Saira has left nothing to chance, ensuring I do not catch any infection."
