Though a star kid, Varun Dhawan before winning the hearts of the audience with his movies, worked as an assistant director. However, there is an interesting profile which Varun opted for long back. An Instagram handle discovered an unknown fact about the actor as they got their hands on a video clip that had the young lad playing a body double to Jimmy Sheirgill. Along with the scene, the particular Instagram page also shared a screenshot where his face is slightly visible.
This took the Coolie No.1 actor’s fans by surprise, one of his fans coming across this fact comment, “Oh my god! I never noticed.” Another fan wrote, “What an observation bro @bollywoodranker.” Varun Dhawan began his career in Bollywood by assisting Karan Johar on My Name Is Khan starring Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol. Along with Varun actor Sidharth Malhotra too assisted the filmmaker on this film before he faced the camera. In 2019 when NMIK clocked 9 years, Varun shared the film changed his life.
Varun also shared a picture back from his assisting days. Karan Johar retweeting the picture wrote, “So many brilliant memories I have!!! Specially of you signing autographs when you were an AD (not a star) and of SID’s stoic silences in the face of adversity!!! And of @abhivarman smiling!! A rare sight!!!!”
