A few days back, Sonu featured on the second episode of Royal Stag Barrel Select MTV Unplugged Season 8. No prizes for guessing that Sonu enthralled the audiences, he sang quite a bit in tribute of his favorites Pankaj Udhas, Jagjit Singh and Ghulam Ali- ghazals like Pyar bhare sharmile nain and Awaargi among few others. Jonita Gandhi Rekha Bhardwaj and Neha Kakkar were also on the show. Well soon, after that, Sonu found himself rocked!

It happened when he was eating out at BKC- if we are not wrong- and almost he developed severe allergy. The rash was so acute that Sonu felt it might not subside with anti-allergens (you know the ones we all take without prescription). Sonu rushed to Nanavati Hospital, after consulting a few medicos he knows. The hospital authorities asked him to be in the ICU (Intensive Care Unit).

More on Sonu, he has been in controversies quite often, after he questioned the need for mosques to use loudspeakers for azaan. Sonu also faced a lot of backlash when he defended Anu Malik who was accused of sexual misconduct. But undeterred Sonu, like always, has said that he will always speak his mind. "Look, opinion is like an a**hole, everyone has it. Some refuse to understand that. And the fact is honest opinion stinks, but that does not stop me to say it, why should I say something dishonest?" he told a section of the media, lately.

Coming back to Sonu's hospitalisation, the Suraj Hua Madham singer Sonu felt better after a 2-day stay in Nanavati and went home. We hear, today he is leaving for his show in Orissa. A stitch in time saves nine, doesn't it? A friend of his says, "Sonu is much better now. He will be in time for the Orrisa concert. There was a concern when he was admitted, but all's well that ends well."
