Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s bungalow Mannat is one of the most sought-after tourist spots in Mumbai. On every special occasion, fans of the actor gather in front of the house to catch a glimpse of him. Every appearance SRK makes on the balcony of his bungalow to greet his fans is seen as a celebration. However, before being bought by the Pathan star, the lavish bungalow was once offered to Salman Khan, who turned it down because of his father.
Yes, you read that right! In an old interview with Bollywood Hungama, Khan was accompanied by Katrina Kaif, when he was asked about the one thing that his Karan Arjun co-star had which he didn’t. Without missing a beat, the 58–year-old actor-filmmaker said Mannat. He went on to reveal that early in his career he was offered Mannat, however, he had to turn it down because of his father Salim Khan. Recalling the incident, he reveals that his father had asked him, “Itne bade ghar main karoge kya?” As everyone laughed at the story, the Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan actor expressed how he wanted to ask SRK the same thing. If reports are to be believed he will be collaborating with Shah Rukh Khan, for YRF’s spy thriller Pathaan vs Tiger.
