Prabhas and Saif Ali Khan starrer upcoming mythological drama ‘Adipurush’ has been in the news ever since it was announced. A few days ago, the film’s director Om Raut announced its new release date and informed everyone that the film has been postponed from January 12, 2023, to June 16. Now, as per the latest reports, the makers of Adipurush have decided to rework its VFX and a few scenes and the total film’s budget has now touched Rs 600 crores.

Yes, you read that right! It is being reported that after the teaser of the film received a severe backlash on social media, the makers decided to rework it and allocated a new budget of Rs 100 crores more for the film. After this new proposal, now the complete budget of Adipurush stands at around a whopping Rs. 600 crores. That’s really huge. Reportedly, the team has worked on Saif Ali Khan’s look in the film and revised it. Not just this, besides VFX, the makers will also be correcting the episodes of Vaanarasena after some reports claimed that the scenes and shots are copied from Hollywood films like Aquaman and Game of Thrones. In the wake of these new changes, the makers have decided to push the release date of ‘Adipurush’ which also stars Kriti Sanon. Announcing the new release date, Om Raut shared a statement on his social media handles and explained that with an aim to give a complete visual experience to the viewers, they need to give more time to the teams working on the film.

While Prabhas plays Lord Ram in the film, Saif would be seen essaying the role of Lankesh.  Kriti, on the other hand, portrays Janaki in ‘Adipurush’
