Kajol is one of the most loved actresses in Bollywood and she is often admired for her unfiltered revelations and charismatic personality. Now, during a recent interaction, the Bollywood A-lister spoke about an unmissable moment when her co-star Shah Rukh Khan got a frozen shoulder after lifting her for a film's photoshoot.

Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol are one of the most bankable on-screen personalities and the duo has worked in several hit films including Baazigar, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, My Name is Khan, Dilwale, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, Karan Arjun and many others. The duo's on-screen chemistry is simply unmissable and they have etched a place for themselves in millions of hearts. 


Speaking with Curly Tales, Kajol was asked about some of the most unforgettable memories from her iconic photoshoots of the old films. To which she recalled an incident with her then-co-star Shah Rukh Khan during the Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge photoshoot and mentioned that although the film poster featured SRK in a happy pose while he was lifting Kajol on his shoulder, it was a challenge for him.

She recalled, “One thing that comes to my mind is how I got into that position by the way. Ek toh bechara Shah Rukh kandhe pe uthaake... mujhe itna bura lag raha tha uske liye, itna bura lag raha tha. I was like, ‘are you sure you can do this?’ He said, ‘Don’t worry, I am strong.' I was like, ‘ya, but you have to carry me on your shoulder. Will you be able to?'"


Furthermore, Kajol shared an interesting anecdote from their film and shared how Shah Rukh showed his masculinity and didn't make her feel heavy at all. However, later the challenge got him in trouble as he had a frozen shoulder after their photoshoot.

She actress further shared, “I was really worried about him. I think he took a hit on his masculinity that ‘How can you say that to me? I am a guy.' He very sweetly carried me and didn't make me feel heavy at all… Later, there was frozen shoulder. Us waqt tha ‘wow’.”


On the professional front, Kajol recently made her OTT debut with the web series The Trial: Pyaar Kaanoon Dhokha which was released on June 12 on Disney+ Hotstar. Directed by Suparn S Varma, the courtroom drama features Jisshu Sengupta, Alyy Khan, Sheeba Chadha, and Kubbra Sait.
