We hear, the filmmaker is planning to return with a gangster drama. That should be good news for his fans. After all, he has rarely gone wrong in that genre - be it Gangs Of Wasseypur or Black Friday or even Satya (which he wrote).
Yes, SpotboyE.com has it that Anurag has been having discreet meetings with writer-turned-producer Zeishan Quadri for future projects.
"They're working on a couple of concepts. One of them explores the crime scene of urban India. Another story that they have been thinking over is a gangster story that unfolds in rural or semi-rural India, like Gangs Of Wasseypur was. They haven't finalised anything yet," says a source close to the filmmaker.
We tried contacting Anurag and Zeishan for their versions but they were unavailable for comment.
