Cannes Film Festival, which takes place every year at
Cannes, (France) previews new films of all genres, including documentaries,
from all around the world and has celebrities from across the globe attend.
However, looks like the buzz surrounding who wore what at
the red carpet has not gone down well with Hum Tum producer-director, Kunal
Kohli.

He took to Twitter to slam this culture in multiple
tweets.
His first tweet read, “I feel #Cannes should
have 2 sections. 1 where film makers meet, interact showcase their films. 1
where there’s just red carpets leading to nowhere. Where people dress up,
pose,pout,showcase their clothes & fashion sense.#Cannes2018 #CannesFilmFestival2018 (sic).”

The second one said, “Do all the people who dress up and
pose on the red carpet go and watch any films in their gowns? I would love to
be proved wrong. I feel they just walk the red carpet.Pose for photographers.
Head back to their designer teams to plan the next red carpet walk. Quite cool
actually (sic).”

Meanwhile, of the Bollywood actresses who attending the
festival, we have already seen Deepika Padukone, Kangana Ranaut, Huma
Qureshi and Mallika Sherawat make an appearance.

Aaradhya in tow and will be seen walking the red carpet tomorrow and
day after.
Newlywed Sonam Kapoor will attend the festival on May
14 and 15.
