Let's go straight. On date, Rohit Shetty is not keen on having Shraddha Kapoor in Golmaal 4. That's the latest whisper in B-town. We bring it to you with details.

Just last month, Shraddha had been almost locked for the role (Shraddha almost final in Golmaal 4, but she won't be opposite Ajay, Sept 10).

A source close to the film tells us that the captain of the ship, Shetty, was very irritated with Shraddha. He felt that she had (unnecessary) attitude. Now whether Shraddha really showed 'attitude' or not can be debated till the cows come home, but Shetty was not convinced.

Adds the source, "That's the last thing Shetty wanted after having had a not-so-easy time after his last offering Dilwale did not meet expectations at the box-office."

Which is why Shetty has contacted Parineeti Chopra and the modalities are fast being worked out. If all goes as per Shetty's latest plan, Parineeti will join Ajay Devgn and the rest of the cast to start the fourth part of the Golmaal franchise soon.

Parineeti will not play Ajay's love interest. Ajay is not paired opposite anybody. Kareena Kapoor, Ajay's leading lady in the second and third part of the franchise, is likely to do a song but much will depend on her availability after she delivers in December.Or will Shraddha mend her ways and make Rohit rewind his decision?

Alia Bhatt was Shetty's first choice and she had shown significant interest in the film but later opted out citing 'date issues' (You won't believe who might replace the pregnant Kareena in Golmaal series,
 July 14).

A source from Golmaal 4 unit says, "We start the shoot in Ooty in February. We plan to complete the film in 60-70 days. We want to hit theatres by Diwali 2017," the source concluded.
