The Queen of Bollywood Kangana Ranaut, of late, has been making headlines owing to her controversial statements. A few days ago, the actress made headlines after she took a dig at Deepika Padukone’s latest released ‘Gehraiyaan’ calling it a ‘horrifying bad film’. Now, Kangana seems to have taken a dig at filmmaker Karan Johar. In a recent interview, she asserted that she has ‘never listened to her daddy so what will she hear about these 'big daddy' sitting in Bollywood.’ Is Kangana referring to Karan Johar as 'big daddy'?
While speaking to India.com, the Tanu Weds Manu actress, on being asked about her journey, said she has struggled a lot in her life and that she has chosen her kind of cinema where women empowerment has been talked about. Kangana was quoted saying, “I haven't been afraid since childhood. At a young age, I left his home. I have never listened to my daddy, so what will I hear about these 'big daddy' sitting in Bollywood? I'm like that. Maybe people think I started doing this to stay in the limelight after success. But that's not true. If you look at my career graph too, I struggled a lot to get here. Then I chose my kind of cinema. In which women empowerment has been talked about.”
The actress is all set to don the hat of a host with her upcoming reality show, Lock Upp. Bankrolled by Ekta Kapoor the show will have 12 contestants from the industry locked up according to her wish. She will ask them to do whatever she wants if they wish to come out. Talking about collaborating with Ekta, Ranaut mentioned, “When you work with Ekta, you know that there will be a risk, so when I came to know about this show, I was not scared at all.”
