On Sunday, Dia took to Instagram to give a glimpse of her weekend with stepdaughter Samaira Rekhi. In the video shared by the actress, Dia and Samaira are seen dancing together on the song 'Bonanza (Belly Dancer) by Akon.

The mother-daughter duo twinned in printed violet pyjama sets. Sharing the video, Dia wrote in the caption, "Be wild. Be free. Be you. May we always dance together @samairarekhi. Thank you @samyuktnair @dandelion.india."

Reacting to the post, a user wrote, "Cuties. Soon baby Avyaan will be joining in too." Dia's mother-in-law, Poonam Rekhi dropped a comment saying, "My darling dancing beauties! Lavender lovelies! Your joy is infectious!" Dia replied, "Dancing makes our time at home happy. we miss you." Smriti Khanna commented, "Cutest duo." Another user commented, "Awwww." Samaira and Dia share a close bond with each other. She often features in her social media posts.

Dia and Vaibhav Rekhi got married in February last year in a close-knot ceremony. They welcomed their first child together Avyaan Azaad Rekhi last year in May. Samaira is Vaibhav's daughter from his first marriage to Sunaina.

Talking about Avyaan, he was born prematurely via an emergency cesarean section. He was in the NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit) for a few weeks before he came home. "As we watch this tiny being, this Zen master in awe and wonder, we learn from him, in all humility, the true meaning of trusting the universe and of parenthood. And to not be afraid, and so we humbly take the lead from his resilience and courage. We do not have enough words to thank all those who continue to help us live this story of hope and faith and create a safe, healing, nurturing space for Avyaan and I," Dia wrote in an Instagram post.
