The superstars of Bollywood – Dharmendra and Shatrughan Sinha - will grace the upcoming weekend episode of Sony Entertainment Television’s The Kapil Sharma Show. The actors will be seen engaging in entertaining and candid chats with Kapil, as well as the cast. Not only this, viewers will also get to witness some fun and classic anecdotes shared by the legendary actors about their early days and the time spent in the entertainment industry.
During a pictorial segment, Kapil Sharma showcases some of Dharmendra’s images from the days where his toned physique was evidently visible. Taking note, Archana Puran Singh poses a question by asking Dharmendra that today’s actors have a lot of access and training techniques to gain a certain kind of body and waistline. What was his secret to maintaining such an enigmatic body? To this, Dharmendra says, “When I was a youngster, we did not have access to handpumps, so we used to collect buckets of water from the well and overtime, I was used to carrying a lot of buckets.”
He adds, "I also played a lot of Kabaddi and my thighs are really powerful because I used to pedal 25 kilometres every day, which assisted me in the movie Dharam Veer.”
Shatrughan Sinha adds, "No one is as fit as Dharmendra Saab. People revere him because he pioneered the tradition of bare body shots.”
Dharam ji considers himself fortunate to have lived such a life, since it has taught him many valuable lessons. He shares, “The way I lived my life as a kid, coming from a middle-class household from a little town to this profession and then being rejected by many film producers, these were the days when I held firm in my convictions and in my abilities, and as a result, I am here today.”
