The leading actor is all set to shine this year with Dhamaka, by the looks of it. Playing a news reporter in the film, he has left fans gasping with his new avatar in the previously released assets alone, making the film one of the most anticipated of the season.

Recently, fans caught a glimpse of the much-awaited trailer of Kartik Aaryan's ‘Dhamaka’. The actor who reigned over the romantic-comedy genre has finally stepped out of his lover boy image, and from the looks of it, Dhamaka can well be the turning point of his career.

Dhamaka's trailer features Kartik Aaryan as a news anchor, named Arjun Pathak. The film's plot revolves around him chasing TRPs while Mumbai is under a terrorist attack. The trailer shows Amruta Subhash as Arjun's TRP-hungry boss, and Mrunal Thakur as his wife. Both have nailed their respective characters.

Kartik Aaryan is set to impress as Arjun Pathak in this Ram Madhvani directorial from 19th November.
