Like tens of thousands people in Delhi, Priyanka Chopra too is battling the deadly and near fatal levels of air pollution in the capital. Priyanka is in India to start shooting for her upcoming Netflix Original Series, The White Tiger. Saying it’s her #righttobreate the actress touched upon the need to find a solution to the environmental and human hazard that has gripped NCR.
Priyanka’s post comes just hours after Dia Mirza, Arjun Rampal and his partner Gabriella Demeatreades posted about the alarming level of air pollution in the city. Questioning the BCCI about its decision to host the India Vs Bangladesh T20 match (now concluded) in Delhi, the actress minced no words. “This. Is. Beyond. Absurd. #AirQuality index is off the charts @BCCI how can you be so ignorant?,” she had written in a strongly worded post. She had raised an alarm a few days back too, asking the BCCI to reconsider its decision to host the T20 match in the capital. Priyanka’s post read, “It’s so hard to shoot here right now that I can’t even imagine what it must be like to live here under these conditions. We r blessed with air purifiers and masks. Pray for the homeless. Be safe everyone.”

Priyanka is shooting for the Netflix Originals Series, The White Tiger, in the NCR. Rajkummar Rao whose latest film Made In China is still running in cinemas, stars alongside Priyanka in the OTT series.
