It’s been more than 10 days since Irrfan Khan left for heavenly abode. Like it is rightly said the void can never be filled again, his presence is deeply being missed not only by his family members but also by few of his co-stars too. Irrfan Khan is survived by wife Sutapa and two sons- Babil and Ayaan Khan. Irrfan Khan was 53 and he breathed his last on April 29, the morning after he succumbed to Colon infection. Known for his art and the gem of a person he was, his Piku co-stars Deepika Padukone gave him a special tribute, yesterday when their film completed 5 years of its release.
After dedicating a Piku song to the late actor, Deepika Padukone once again gave a heartfelt tribute to her Piku co-star Irrfan Khan. Taking to her Instagram, Dippy posted a video of them playing Tennis on the sets of Piku and wrote a heartbreaking caption alongside, that read, “please come back! #irrfankhan,” with a heartbroken emoticon.
The short clip opens with Deepika Padukone, who has been a prolific badminton player before stepping in the glamour world, smashing to the Irrfan’s court. The video will leave you with a heavy heart.
Yesterday, Deepika had shared a candid BTS picture from the sets of Piku on the completion of 5 years of its release. She wrote their song Lamhe’s lyrics in the caption.
