Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh complete one month of marital bliss today. The couple tied the knot at Lake Como, Italy on November 14 and 15, and after 3 receptions have now resumed completing their professional commitments. A while ago, we brought you a candid video of the actress in conversation with Filmfare Editor-in-Chief, Jitesh Pillai, wherein she addressed Ranveer Singh as “Ranveer Singh Padukone” and also spoke about her lavish wedding.
Now, here’s another dope from the same show –Famously Filmfare. According to the glossy, during the interview, Deepika also addressed her equation with Katrina Kaif, whose presence at her wedding reception raised a number of eyeballs. Talking about the same, the actress said, “A lot of water has flown under the bridge. For me, just the fact that she came and was very present was gracious (of her). I've always been fond of her. You know, just the way that she's been over the years, and with her work and I have a lot of respect for that. I made my peace with her.”
You may recall, SpotboyE.com broke the news of Katrina receiving an invite for Ranveer and Deepika’s wedding reception. In fact, we had told you that the actor sent out a message to Kat to personally invite her. The actress attended the couple’s wedding reception dressed in a white-grey tissue saree.
For those who have come in late, ever since Katrina’s break-up with Rabir Kapoor, she and Deepika have shared cold vibes. Hushed whispers in the industry suggested that the former blames the latter for her break-up. However, just as Deepika has put it, a lot of water has flown under the bridge and now, the two ladies have moved on.
