Deepika Padukone's Manager Karishma Seeks Exemption From NCB Interrogation Citing Health Reasons- REPORTS

Deepika Padukone's name has now been linked to the alleged drug nexus of Bollywood. Yesterday, copies of WhatsApp chats reportedly exchanged between the actress and her manager Karishma Prakash talking about drugs made it to the media. The news spread like wildfire and social media went abuzz discussing the same. It was reported that the actress will be summoned soon for interrogation by NCB. Her manager Karishma, was summoned by the investigating agency and was asked to come in for questioning tomorrow. However, Times Now reports that Karishma has sought an exemption citing health issues.

As reported by the channel, lawyers of Karishma Prakash have procured exemption from the NCB stating that their client is unwell and will join the probe later. She is now expected to join the investigation on September 25. Apart from this, three more people have been summoned by the agency. Jaya Saha, Madhu Mantena (the owner of KWAN Talent Management Company) and Dhruv (Director of KWAN) have been called in for interrogation, as reported.
