Deepika Padukone married boyfriend and Bollywood star Ranveer Singh in an intimate wedding at Lake Como, Italy, last year. Post their wedding, the Simmba actor would never leave a chance to gush about his beautiful wife, and express how lucky he has been since he married the love of his life. Many a times, Ranveer has given us a sneak peek of the rule book that Deepika has made for him.
Now, during a recent interview with Firstpost, Deepika along with her mom Ujjala has spoken about the reason for such rules. Believe it or not, the dimpled beauty revealed if she tells her husband to come home on time there’s a reason behind that. So, for those who don’t know from where it has come, let us tell you- thanks to her mother and her strict parenting style that keeps the actor on toes. Deepika told the leading website, “I have learnt a lot from her. I don’t think there is a single thing I can do without her voice in my head. Simple things like when I buy something, I remember that she has always told me, ‘find out how much it is for’”.
Further talking about Ranveer, Deepika told Firstpost, “We were all her priority. She allowed us to pursue our passion and, at the same time, disciplined all of us. Today if Ranveer says ‘my wife expects us to be home at a certain time, go to bed at a certain time’— all those things come from her.”
On the work
front, Deepika will soon start shooting for Meghna Gulzar's film Chhapaak,
which is based on the real-life story of an acid attack survivor Laxmi,
co-starring Vikrant Massey. The film is expected to go on floors soon. On the
other hand, Ranveer Singh is gearing up for '83, which is based on India's
victory in the 1983 world cup.
