There’s extreme excitement and chaos all around as Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone are becoming man and wife on November 14-15. We did a story on their official engagement and we also shared details around the luxury resort where the couple is stationed at, currently.
Now, we have got our hands on a very important document which is about their wedding insurance. Yes, you read that right. A Delhi-based state-run non-life-insurer Oriental Insurance Company (OIC) has issued the insurance policy. The all-risk policy, that has been issued by the Ballad Estate office of OIC in Mumbai, provides insurance cover to both the marriage venues, located in Italy. The policy has been issued in the name of Ranveer Singh Bhavnani and Deepika Padukone. Read: Deepika Padukone-Ranveer Singh Wedding LIVE Updates
The policy will include the loss and damage to the insured property due to fire, theft, explosion, aircraft damage, earthquake, water damage, burglary, hold-up, robbery in transit to and fro, flood, storm and typhoon. It doesn’t cover things like event, location, public liability and rentals.
The deputy general manager of OIC (Mumbai), Anil Srivastava said, “The policy was not a full-fledged wedding insurance policy as it covered only the jewellery items being used for the wedding ceremony. Its real value can be assessed at the time of claim only.”
Speaking of the wedding, there will be two wedding ceremonies – Konkani style wedding on 14th and Sindhi style wedding on 15th November. It will be followed by two receptions, one in Bengaluru and the other one in Mumbai. We were the first ones to get the date of Mumbai reception, bang on.
Excited and awaiting pictures from the wedding!
