Deepika Padukone's Bajirao Mastani clashes with her mentor Shah Rukh Khan's Dilwale today at the theatres. And you all know how the clash has created a rift between Dippy and SRK.

Now that the actress is done with the Sanjay Leela Bhansali film, she is in the mood to get back in SRK's good books. The Bajirao Mastani actress tweeted:

But if Dippy darlin' is expecting a warm response to that, looks like it's gonna be a long wait.

You see, King Khan has been active on Twitter all evening - the superstar has responded to Alia Bhatt, Parineeti Chopra, Huma Qureshi....but he doesn't have anything to say to Ms. Padukone (Ouch, that must hurt!).

But then again, Deepika had rubbed him the wrong way during her Bajirao Mastani promotions.

Only a few weeks ago, when she was questioned about ringing up SRK to avert the impending clash, the actress had retorted saying, "I think when you are working in a film like Bajirao Mastani, there's no real time or head space to get even involved in something like that. As an actor, I think the only thing an actor can do is to do your part with honesty and conviction."

The two had bumped into each other at Bachchan's Diwali bash where the two had a cordial chat, but it seems that didn't help them to go back to their good old days.

Just two days ago, a cold exchange between the two warring stars was evident, especially when SRK called Bajirao Mastani a 'niche' film to which Deepika shot back saying, "It is a globally-appealing film and not niche at all."

Will SRK forgive his Chennai Express co-star? Umm...we're sure Salman Khan will advise her not to give up hope.
