Today, Ajay Devgn celebrates his 50th birthday. It’s a double celebration of sorts for the actor as he even unveils the trailer of his forthcoming flick, De De Pyaar De that also stars Tabu and Rakul Preet Singh in it.
The trailer starts off with a 50-year-old Ajay Devgn flirting with the 26-year-old Rakul Preet Singh. Eventually, they fall in love and soon we see his ex-wife, played by Tabu enter the scene. At the trailer launch event, Ajay Devgn spoke about the film, “De De Pyaar De is a fun love story. It is a fun film. I don't even know if I have done this kind of film before. But I have had fun doing this film.” Producer Luv Ranjan addressed misogyny in his films by saying, "I have been asked this so much. I think we have had these movies, and they have been very successful. I think I have had some strong female characters in my films. There has been confusion between good female roles and strong female roles.”
