It was a prestigious night for the entertainment industry as celebrities and their projects were awarded at the Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival Awards 2023, in Mumbai on February 20. Fans couldn’t contain their excitement as their favourite stars graced the red carpet looking their very best. Not only did the ensembles of the night become the talking point on social media, but even the winners were truly well deserved.
While Vivek Agnihotri’s The Kashmir Files bagged an award for the best film, veteran actor Anupam Kher won an award for the most versatile actor of the year. Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor were awarded as the best actress and actor for their respective films Gangubai Kathiawadi and Brahmastra: Part 1. Kantara fame Rishab Shetty too was awarded for being the most promising talent of the year.

Talking about the award, it is considered to be one of the prestigious honours in the field of entertainment. While Hindi award shows over the years are often criticised for not acknowledging true talent and supporting new talents, this year’s achievers has certainly left the audience satisfied.
