Dabboo Ratnani’s calendar launch took place at JW Marriot last night and celebrities such as Abhishek Bachchan, Rekha, Manushi Chhillar, Anupam Kher, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Luv Sinha, Vindu Dara Singh, Vikas Gupta, Anusha Dandekar, Karan Kundra, Karan Singh Grover, Sonal Chauhan, Gautam Gulati, Ashmit Patel, Mehek Chahel, Sangeeta Bijlani, Pooja Bedi and Sunny Leone graced the event.

However, Amitabh Bachchan, who was to inaugurate the calendar couldn’t make it to the event. Reason? A severe shoulder and spine pain forced him to miss the do. Son Abhishek Bachchan stepped in instead and did the honours.

Amitabh Bachchan took to Twitter and apologised for not making it to the event. He wrote, “T 2585 - the annual event of the year .. #DabbooRatnaniCalendar2018 https://www.facebook.com/DabbooRatnani/videos/10155431446883869/ … … and I was supposed to inaugurate it .. apologies Dabboo, cannot make it .. shoulder and spine in heavy pain .. .. docs working to get me up by tomorrow for Important function (sic).”

A number of stars including Shah Rukh Khan, Sonakshi Sinha, Alia Bhatt, Priyanka Chopra and Jacqueline Fernandez too were missing from the launch owing to professional commitments.
