Salman Khan and Sonakshi Sinha’s Dabangg 3 is one of the most-awaited and most-talked-about films this year. Fans are pretty excited to see their Chulbul ‘Robinhood’ Pandey back on the screen but apparently, the film has got into religious trouble, thanks to Hindu Janajagruti Samiti. According to a Times Now report, the religious group has demanded the Central Board of Film Certification refuse the certification for Dabangg 3 as they have claimed that the title song, Hud Hud Dabangg has hurt the religious sentiments of the Hindu community who have also degraded the image of sages.
Why so much drama over a song? Well, talking about the song, Hud Hud Dabangg has multiples sadhus jamming with an electric guitar behind Salman. Not only that, the sages are even seen dancing in full Bollywood style and are also seen doing hip-hop which was certainly not well received by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti who found it very inappropriate as they said that it looked hideous and as a result, the Hindu community are hurt to see the portrayal of the sages who are treated as godmen in India.
The portal also has Sunil Ghanwat, the organiser of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti for Maharashtra and Jharkhand States quote who raised the question about the film by saying, "Sadhus have been shown dancing with Salman Khan in a hideous and objectionable manner. As a result, the religious sentiments of all Hindus have been hurt. The way in which Salman Khan has degraded Sages, will he dare to show Mulla-Maulavi or Father-Bishop dancing similarly?"
