COVID-19: Priyanka Chopra Jonas' Mother And Aunt Support Slum Areas In Jharkhand- EXCLUSIVE

Dr Madhu Chopra, Priyanka Chopra Jonas' mother, along with her sister have been providing help to the slum areas in Jharkhand. They have recognised 24 houses and plan to support them in these testing times

Priyanka Chopra Jonas is a global icon not only because of her personal acheivements but also because of all the social services she does across the globe. The number of initiatives she is connected with are huge. And we know where does she get this from! Well, her mother, Dr Madhu Chopra is also one of those who likes to always be there for the needy.

During this period, when the world has been hit by the pandemic, Covid-19, Priyanka is away from her country, but her mother, along with the big support of her sister (Priyanka's maasi) is making sure to do whatever best she can to help the ones in dire situation. 


SpotboyE.com has learnt that there is slum of 24 houses (poorest they have encountered) and Madhu Chopra with her sister have been supporting them with basic essentials. They have included face mask, dettol soap bar, half kg mustard oil, salt and Rs 10 packet of marie gold biscuits, per family.

 

Not just these 24 houses, there are other slum areas too like by Kharkai river bed area, where they have been providing help.

So far, they have distributed 3 tonnes of rice, 14 quintals of potatoes, 1 quintal masoor dal, 2 quintal onions.


Well, we salute Dr Madhu Chopra and her sister for their efforts. And hope they succeed in their aim in providing maximum help to maximum people.
