Coronavirus Pandemic: Producers Guild Donates Celeb Vanity Vans For Female Cops On Bandobast Duty

Producers Guild Of India offers helping hand to Mumbai Police. Taking to Twitter they released a statement and said that they will designate fully-equipped tents and vanity vans of Bollywood stars to the police force especially for female cops.

In the wake of Coronavirus Pandemic, Producers Guild Of India has offered a helping hand to Mumbai Police, who are leaving no stone unturned to keep Mumbaikars safe and Corona free. Taking to their Twitter handle, the PGI announced their new imitative Mission Suraksha that offers some privilege to the female cops of Mumbai Police. In their note, the PGI stated that they have will donate fully-equipped tents and vanity vans of Bollywood stars to the police force, especially to the female cops.

The statement on their Twitter handle read, “We are delighted to launch ‘Mission Suraksha’ to protect our caretakers, especially women cops on bandobast duty. Fully equipped tents and vanity vans used by cinestars have been provided across 22 key locations as restrooms for break time.”  The vans and the tents have been located at 22 key locations across the city.

This initiate comes in the light after many Bollywood celebs took to their social media to express their gratitude to Mumbai Police who are fighting it out to protect the city from the dreaded COVID-19 pandemic.

A few days back, in the hard times like these, celebs like Ekta Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar, Dia Mirza, Kiara Advani, Sidharth Malhotra, Sanjay Dutt among others came forward to help the daily wagers of the Industry. Not only the daily wagers but celebs like Rohit Shetty and Hrithik Roshan too also came forward to help out-of-work paparazzi. Celebrity photographer Viral Bhayani took to his Instagram and thanked Hrithik for his thoughtful gesture. “I have a huge team on the ground which works tirelessly to capture the celebrities. But now with this crisis, my only source income has stopped and it has become extremely difficult to keep my family as well as 15 plus families who were all supported on the income I generated through the subscription of my pictures and the paid posts of my Instagram.”
