With everyone undergoing self-isolation in their houses due to the coronavirus pandemic, there’s been a lot of panic, fear and outrage across the world. Well, a section of the internet is blaming China for suppressing early warnings of coronavirus and due to their negligence; the entire world is suffering now. A hashtag called #ChinaLiedPeopleDied, too, has been trending ever since the outbreak. Recently, Rishi Kapoor had slammed the country through a cryptic tweet, now; we have Emraan Hashmi in the queue.

Taking to his Twitter account, the Murder actor, though indirectly, credited the Chinese people for coronavirus. Emraan wrote how all of this is happening just because some person wanted to have a bat. However, fans quickly read in between the lines and asked the actor to openly slam. He wrote, “And all this because some person thousands of miles away wanted to have a freakish culinary experience like eating a BAT,” followed by a streak of disgusted-face emoticons. Feelings are mutual, Emraan!

Some days ago, Rishi Kapoor had tweeted, “If to be believed how this Coronavirus erupted, every country in the world should take the country where it started to task. Highly irresponsible doing endangering lives and causing huge damage to humanity. Please be safe all. Be cautious. We will tide over it.”

Check out the tweets below:

In the past, Emraan Hashmi had urged his followers to stay safe inside their houses. He wrote, “With the current outbreak hope everyone is safe and tucked away in their homes. Please travel or venture out only if you really need to. How we discipline ourselves will dictate how well we can control this pandemic. There will be enough time to dance on the streets.. Take care.”
