Anup Jalota, who is also known as Bhajan Samrat of India for his outstanding contribution to Hindu Devotional music, was kept in isolation at a Mumbai Hotel as the singer arrived in India post his music concert in Europe. As the world is going through a crisis of unimaginable magnitude, people are taking all the precautionary measures to fight against the coronavirus disease. A few days back, the singer had taken to social media to inform his fans that
he had been quarantined for some time until he will be tested for the deadly virus.
Last night, the 66-year-old singer posted a video on his Facebook and Twitter accounts to inform his fans that he has been tested negative for coronavirus. In the video, Jalota said, “The doctors have come and gave me reports now and said that I don't have any symptoms of coronavirus and that I can go home. I was never against conducting the test and I urge everyone to come forward and do the test if need be. If any of you have any difficulty inform the doctors as this affects others also. Why to put others in danger (sic)?"
He then added, “I am very happy I underwent the test and kept myself under observation and came out clean. I urge everyone to cooperate just like me.” Anup Jalota posted a video on Twitter captioning, “Free to go home now as my test for coronavirus is negative. #CoronaVirusUpdates #COVID2019india #StaySafeStayHome@PMOIndia @MoHFW_INDIA @WHO @narendramodi @drharshvardhan @SrBachchan @KailashOnline @AnupamPKher @aajtak @BBCHindi @ABPNews @ZeeNews @DDNewslive @salim_merchant”
