Ever since our honourable Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced 21 days lockdown in India, stars of tinsel town got supremely active on the social networking sites to keep themselves entertained as well as their followers. One of them is veteran actor Rishi Kapoor. The actor has been active on his micro-blogging account, Twitter expressing his views and opinions regarding the lockdown. After suggesting to announce an emergency due to the COVID-19 pandemic, he suggested the government to open the liquor shops as well.
Looking at the current scenario, the government is in need of money; he further mentioned about this lockdown should not lead people from frustration into depression, keeping the shops open in the evening makes sense. And also people who are stuck in the house due to the lockdown will also find relief with it. While he pens this tweet he requests people to not get him wrong as liquor is anyways sold in black during the lockdown. Hence, officially keeping the shops open would make more sense.
He tweeted, “Think. Government should for sometime in the evening open all licensed liquor stores. Don’t get me wrong. Man will be at home only what with all this depression, uncertainty around. Cops, doctors, civilians etc... need some release. Black mein to sell ho hi raha hai. ( cont. 2)”
