As Sara Ali Khan and Varun Dhawan are on promotional spree for their upcoming movie, Coolie No. 1, the leading lady has spilled out a lot of deets while they were shooting for this comic caper. Revealing about one such event from the sets was, when the Simmba actress was scolded by the director David Dhawan. As reported in Mumbai Mirror, the actress while filming the song, Main Toh Raste Se had to tag a specific thing on her costume that was time consuming thus leaving the filmmaker upset.
Sara said, “We were filming ‘Main Toh Raste Se’ when David sir got upset with me and shouted at me because, although I was ready for my shot, I was supposed to tag something on my costume and that was taking time”. But the real reason behind the senior director's outburst on the actress was Varun Dhawan. As the actor was busy working on his costume which had delayed the shoot, getting David Dhawan fuming with anger. So the actress revealed it happened because of Varun delaying the shoot, leaving David Dhawan upset and Sara being at the receiving end of the director’s anger.
“He was doing some costume business in the van and David sir got pretty upset at him as it was delaying the shoot. So basically, he was angry at Varun but vented on me. That was a bit of an issue, but it is all good,” she added.
