Coolie No 1 Producer Jackky Bhagnani Thanks Firefighters, Mumbai Police And BMC Officials For Handling The Fire On Sets

News of major fire broke out on the sets of David Dhawan’s directorial Coolie No. 1 starring Sara Ali Khan and Varun Dhawan, headlined the news today morning. The set was located in Goregaon, Filmistan studio in Mumbai. As per a report in Mumbai Mirror the mishap took place last night at 12:30 am. Luckily no casualties were reported from the location, also the prompt steps were taken by Fire Brigade Services in the close by vicinity. The reason for this major fire is still unknown.



Now just an hour ago producer Jackky Bhagnani released a statement on his official Twitter handle speaking about the same. In his post, he thanked Firefighters, Mumbai Police, and the BMC officials for their immediate assistance. He also thanked everybody who expressed their concern on the same.  His tweet read, “We would like to thank the Firefighters, Mumbai Police, and the BMC officials for their immediate assistance, after a concerning situation on the sets of #Coolieno1 The fire was put out immediately with no casualties. I want to thank everyone for their concern and wishes”


The team just got back from the first shooting schedule of the movie held in Bangkok. Currently, the lead pair is busy rehearsing for a dance act choreographed by ace choreographer Ganesh Acharya.

Besides this Varun just gave a glimpse of his character named Kunwar Mahendra Pratap from the film in his latest Instagram post. The movie releases on May 1, 2020. The original flick of the same name starred Govinda and Karisma Kapoor in a pivotal role.
