Politician and actor Ravi Kishan enjoys a huge fanbase. He has won many hearts with his comic timings and acting skills. While today he is one of the most sought-after celebrities in the entertainment industry, it wasn’t easy for him during his initial days. During a recent interaction he recalled narrowly escaping a casting couch experience when he was starting out as an actor.
The MP of Gorakhpur had graced the sets of Aap Ki Adalat, where he spoke about how a woman, who he refused to name as she is a big-shot now, had invited him for coffee late at night. He shed light on his father’s teaching that helped him in escaping the invitation. Recalling the incident, he stressed on the fact that casting couch is something that happens in the industry. However, his father had taught him to approach his work honestly and “I never wanted to take a shortcut.” He knew he was talented. The 53-year-old further added that he can’t name the woman as “she has become a big shot now.” Quoted by India Today, he said, “She had said, ‘Coffee peene raat me aayiye (Come at night for a cup of coffee)’.
